Research & background
My name is Hoang Nguyen. I am a lecturer and researcher based in Wellington, New Zealand. My work focuses on applying machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence to the life, molecular, and health sciences.
I lead the Hoang Nguyen Research Group, where I serve as principal supervisor and project coordinator. The group brings together researchers and research assistants to address shared computational questions and turn methods and tools into research outcomes.
